What is card board galling?

Some of the surface paper does not have paper fiber attached to the surface, that is, there is no galling phenomenon. This is the common phenomenon of partial galling and partial non galling.

Only when the paper fiber is damaged by glue, can the phenomenon of galling occur. And part of the roughening, no roughening in the end will lead to corrugated board part of the glue or all of the glue such a serious harm.

The production and solution of the part of the board roughening phenomenon:

1. The pressing belt speed is too fast. (slow down the pressing belt speed)

2. Too much glue. (reduce the amount of glue applied.)

3. Adhesive quality problems. (poor viscosity, slow drying speed, and stable quality adhesive)

The production and solution of paperboard without galling phenomenon:

1. The machine pressure is too light. (adjust machine pressure)

2. Causes of corrugation. The corrugation is crushed before it enters the press roll. (adjust the corrugated pressure)

3. Adhesive quality problems. (choose adhesive with good viscosity and fast drying speed.)
