Methods of reducing moisture content of corrugated board

Customers and friends of carton packaging often ask us, can the moisture test of your glued cardboard reach 8? I would like to say that it is impossible to count on the glue completely, because the paper itself contains moisture. See the figure below:

The water content of the pit paper is 0. Figure 1 shows the test of the surface paper, and the water content is 7. Figure 2 shows that the pit paper is placed on the surface paper, and the water content is 5-6 before the glue is applied.

The buyers of carton packaging customers will require the moisture to be controlled at 8-9. If the climate is relatively dry, if the glue amount is well controlled and the glue line is uniform, it can be controlled at 9-10. Our customers in Egypt and Africa generally have the moisture test index controlled at 9 moisture, which is no problem.

However, if it is winter or in areas with more rain, there is a large amount of water in the air, which can not be achieved completely by glue. At this time, we need to rely on auxiliary equipment, such as exhaust fan and dryer. As shown below:

Specific operation methods for reducing moisture:

1. Reduce the water content of Rubber Powder and increase the solid content
2. Use exhaust fan, dryer and other auxiliary equipment
3. The glue quantity is controlled for 30-40 seconds, except for high-speed machine
4. It is better not to have too serious high and low pits in the corrugated
5. You can slightly reduce the amount of caustic soda and increase the amount of Borax under the original formula,
6. Finally, try to minimize the amount of glue on the premise of continuous glue
